Time to celebrate!
Well this is highly exciting. My blog has been up and running for a year now and I just got over 1,000 page views! Yay me! I guess someone finds my blog interesting at times which is awesome.
This makes me really happy, and hopefully I can continue to write, post and share fun/artistic things with all of you!
Also... Easter is coming and guess what that means? Easter candy in the stores!! MMMmmm... Why do all the holidays want to give us chocolate and make us fat? Its so hard to stick to a diet with a different holiday every month geared to selling chocolate and candy! Not that I'm really complaining too much..
Found this fun blog via my roommate: http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/
Its great for finding crafts, recipies, fashions and beauty tips! I haven't tried out anything from the site yet, but I think my first crafty thing will be: http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/02/geometric-photo-art-project.html. Probably once school is over though.
Speaking of university.. only about 5 weeks left!! Then I'll be left on my own with an expensive piece of paper in my hand and trying to find a way to make it big in the real world and become a famous photographer. I know I can do it. ;) But I'll appreciate any luck you send my way!
Just for fun, here's a picture I took recently on my way to Vancouver on the BC Ferries. I love that beautiful British Columbia scenery :)

My Drunk Kitchen
Recently I have fallen in love with My Drunk Kitchen. She is utterly hilarious. Check out her videos and they are guaranteed to make you laugh!!
Moleskine
Well today I bought my first Moleskine notebook. I feel like a real artist now. Its so exciting. Now I have a nice sketchbook to keep all my artistic ideas and thoughts rather than the one I bought for 2 pounds in Scotland that is becoming rather worn looking.
Recent photographical endeavors include back in December doing a photoshoot with my lovely roommate and local musician Chelsea-Lyne. Last week I got the opportunity to do headshots with another very popular Victoria band called Rocky Mountain Rebel Music. Will post when my photos are ready, but will have my images on their website and various posters. Very excited to be getting my foot in the door of photographing the music scene in Victoria. To other bands out there.. I am available for hire for headshots/group shots at a very reasonable price!
Check out Chelsea-Lyne's website to see some of the fun shots from our creative shoot! http://www.chelsealyne.com/
Edited some more travel photos from Norway and the UK.. so check these out!

Scotland, take me back!
Well its days like today, when I will be glad to be done this whole school thing in a couple of months. I am getting so tired of it, want to have my final project completed and be done with this!! I feel myself getting stuck again, and very very soon it'll be time to dig myself out of this rut and get outta here again. Last year at this time I had just arrived in Abedeen, Scotland and was getting myself out of a different rut. What I would love again is to be in Scotland right now, away from this small town and exploring new places and meeting new people and immersing myself into the vibrant and fun Scottish Culture.
I apologize, just needed a wee rant. But below is an image of where I would rather at this very moment.

Happy 2012!
Happy New Years! I had the most relaxed new years ever, but it was really nice. Had some quality catch-up time with myself.
Looking forward to good things for 2012. After all it'll be the year I graduate university! Last year will be a pretty hard year to beat in terms of awesomeness with my exchange over to Aberdeen, Scotland, and meeting so many amazing people and seeing lots of beautiful places, but I am going to try my best to make it another fantastic year filled with fun times, hard work, amazing images and good times with good friends.
Thank you everyone who made my 2011 year so special over in Aberdeen, and to all my friends at home who are making my last year of University so much fun and filled with so many memories.
I can't believe it was almost a year ago that I left to go explore an unknown city with the expectations of having plenty of adventures and seeing so many new places. Its amazing how 6 months can fly by, but I feel that I accomplished a lot in that amount of time, and a lot of which was learning things about myself and seeing how I grew personally throughout the year. Those 6 months abroad were definitely some of the best of my life, and I cant wait to get out there and go back and visit and make many more amazing memories with the great friends that I made.
Good luck to everyone and wishing you all the best with accomplishing everything you set out to complete in the new year (and maybe sticking to those resolutions at least for a little while).
Once I have actually finished going through all my images from my travels and editing the best ones (one of my new years resolutions along with organizing my whole harddrive and external harddrive) I will share more memories of the year with you.
